PRO TIP: Push the mascara wand into the lash bed first, then "wiggle" the wand through the lashes. Once you've coated lashes on both eyes, go back and do a second coat, really focussing on the lashes at the outer corners of your eyes. This will help to give your eyes a more elongated look. Turn the wand vertically to delicately coat the lashes in the inner corners and outer corners of your eyes. This 'vertical wand' technique can be helpful on the lower lashes too.

2. Then, apply mascara as the last step in your eye makeup routine.

3. Dip wand into container, wipe excess mascara on the rim and apply in upward strokes to the underside of your lashes starting at the root of the lash.

4. Really push your mascara right in to the root of the lash first to create a "liner" of definition. Then wiggle the mascara wand from root to tips.

5. Apply several layers on top lashes to build colour, at least 2 coats and a single layer to bottom lashes if you choose. Coating your lower lashes will really open up your eyes, but can also throw a shadow. So if you're someone that feels they have dark under eye circles, perhaps give the lower lashes a miss.
